My Journey
With years of experience teaching dance in various contexts, from schools to the community, my focus has evolved. I've seen the incredible benefits that dance can bring to individuals' physical and mental well-being. At Tone & Poise, I believe in the power of movement to promote health and happiness through engaging, enjoyable activities.
Why Tone & Poise?
Empowerment Through Movement: My classes are designed to help you move with confidence and grace. Adult Ballet for nostalgia and elegance, Pilates for mobility and balance, Aerial Hoop for strength and power, GCSE Dance for Academic excellence, Accessible Dance for the joy of moving. I focus on techniques that enhance your physical health, boost your self-esteem, and bring joy to your daily life.
Bridging the Gap in Arts Education
Witnessing firsthand the impact of cuts in arts funding while teaching in schools, I've been inspired to make a difference. At Tone & Poise, I am proud to offer GCSE Dance as an outside school qualification. This initiative aims to ensure that students have the opportunity to pursue their passion for dance and achieve academic recognition, even if their school cannot provide the necessary resources. I believe that every young person should have the chance to explore their artistic potential and gain valuable qualifications that will benefit their future.
